Airvoi SIP Trunk

Take a SIP of freedom. Here is how SIP benefits your business.

What is SIP?

SIP stands for Session Initiation Protocol, and is a technology used for establishing voice communication over a data network. It is the protocol of choice for making phone calls over the Internet.

What if I have an existing PBX?

If you have already invested in a PBX system, you may still be able to benefit from SIP Trunking. In this situation, SIP Trunking is delivered to your PBX by using an ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) that allows SIP Trunks to connect with your system.

How many SIP Trunks will I need?

As a general rule of thumb, it is recommended that one SIP Trunk is used per 2-3 users. Remember, SIP Trunks consume bandwidth, so knowing your business’ bandwidth capabilities is also important when considering your configuration.
